As a low-oxalate dieter for almost 20 years, I tend to create mostly low or medium oxalate recipes. Many of the recipes on this site are low oxalate.  Many others are not low oxalate but can easily be modified for a low oxalate, gluten-free, dairy-free, or controlled carbohydrate diet. If you have special dietary needs and want modified recipes, please visit my blog: Low Oxalate Family Cooking.

Low Oxalate Family Cooking provides recipes, tips, and support for families with low-oxalate dieters. Most of these recipes are also appropriate for controlled carbohydrate and gluten-free diets, and many include modifications for dairy-free or Paleo diets. Low Oxalate Family Cooking also provides resources for families following a low oxalate diet and recovery stories, including my own.

For those of you who just stumbled upon this and are wondering why anyone would want to follow a low-oxalate diet, here is a partial list of conditions that might be helped by a low oxalate diet: Vulvar Pain Syndrome  (including genital pain in MEN and women), Kidney Stones, Autism, Fibromyalgia, Leaky Gut Syndrome (including celiac disease), Irritable Bowel Disorder, interstitial cystitis, burning mouth syndrome, and various other urinary, bowel, skin, joint, muscle and rectal symptoms. Please visit my site for more information.

Good luck on your healing journey.
